Careers

Meaningful work, clear standards and a coordinated team.

We welcome expressions of interest from thoughtful people who want to support individuals and families in their homes and communities.

Work with Benevolent Care

Join a team that values both human connection and professional standards.

We are building a multidisciplinary team for meaningful work in people’s homes and communities. Roles may include support workers, case managers, support coordinators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians and operational team members.

Employment or contracting arrangements, hours, service areas and role requirements depend on the position and will be clearly explained during recruitment.

What we value

  • Respectful, person-centred practice
  • Reliable communication and documentation
  • Cultural humility and inclusive behaviour
  • Clear professional boundaries
  • Willingness to collaborate across disciplines

Potential opportunities

Different roles, one coordinated purpose.

Support workers

Practical, respectful assistance that helps people participate in daily life at home and in the community.

Coordination professionals

Case managers and support coordinators who can bring clarity, organisation and sound judgement to complex situations.

Allied health clinicians

Physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and dietitians interested in mobile, community-based practice.

Before you apply

Community work requires independence and accountability.

Depending on the role, requirements may include professional registration, police and worker screening, working-with-children clearance, qualifications, insurance, a driver licence, reliable transport, vaccinations, training or other compliance evidence.

We will confirm the exact requirements for the role rather than relying on this general list.

Bilingual and culturally diverse candidates

Language can strengthen trust when paired with professional skill.

We welcome expressions of interest from people who can communicate in languages used across Melbourne’s diverse communities. Language ability does not replace role qualifications or professional competence.
